ERTC CANADA – SEARCH AND RESCUE TRAINING

Search and Rescue Training ProgramsThe team at Emergency Response Training and Consulting Canada (ERTC) has a wealth of expertise in the area of Search and Rescue and has been working with Search and Rescue organizations throughout the province of Alberta for the last 14 years.  We have the ability to offer a range of courses for team training suitable for those who are new members as well as long standing and experienced volunteers.

With extensive first hand experience working as part of SAR teams in both Alberta and BC, our instructors are able to tailor the learning for the SAR environment.  We provide training that is relevant to SAR situations and which allows participants to develop the necessary skills for becoming effective team members.

ERTC Canada instructors have travelled throughout western Canada and internationally to present programs to SAR organizations and are also respected presenters at Search and Rescue Conferences in both Canada and the USA.

Our goal is to streamline the training process and to make it easy for you.  We know first hand that you put in countless hours as volunteers to become knowledgeable, capable and experienced SAR technicians.  Let us reduce your workload and streamline the process for you by being your ‘one stop shop’ for SAR programming. Tell us what you need and we will deliver.  We will work with you to provide a range of programs that offer your team members the training that they need to become proficient responders in an emergency situation.

On the right you will see the range of courses that we can offer.  Don’t see what you are looking for – contact us – we offer customized programming on an ongoing basis.

Client Testimonials

“Thank you” just isn’t enough! We appreciated very much your tremendous support of SARSCENE this year, including RMAM’s sponsorship of the medical event at the Games and providing the first ever award for best performance in the event. Guy Kerr and the rest of the crew did a first rate job. Many thanks for your generosity of time, expertise and resources.

Carole , SARSCENE

Dave’s presentation in January was a great update on rural emergency response and wilderness medicine and Guy’s Scenario Day was an excellent review of skills and gave us badly needed practice and top notch feedback. (Haven’t even mentioned the delightful cookies to us keep us well fueled.) And Brenda, have certainly appreciated all your efforts to schedule courses, presentations and scenario days. Thanks to the folks at RMAM our members are continually updating and improving their skills and maintaining their enthusiasm for Wilderness First Aid.
